Strategic Planning Partners is partnering with the Stony Brook University Corporate Education and Training Department at the Center for Emerging Technologies to bring Emergency Preparedness services to Businesses on Long Island. The program was kicked off with a seminar conducted by SPP on Emergency Preparedness at the Center, and has been expanded to include full-day workshops the first of which is scheduled for February 5, 2008. In addition to this and other sessions to be offered in the future, the Center for Emerging Technologies is positioned to deliver Emergency Preparedness Planning services to individual Stony Brook customers utilizing consulting services contracted through Strategic Planning Partners.
Stony Brook University's Center for Emerging Technologies (CET) delivers programs that prepare a world class workforce with the emerging professional, business, and technical skills necessary for our global economy. SPP looks forward to working with the CET to increase the awareness of the business community relative to Emergency Preparedness and to facilitate delivery of these services to a broader spectrum of the market on Long Island. The ultimate goal is increased regional preparedness within our business community to prevent, respond to and recover from natural and/or man-made disasters.
